I Cried My Heart Out For You

A piece done using pencils, biros, poster paints, acrylic paints and oil pastels. The detail on the heart didn't come out as clearly as I wanted it to but this is the best photo I could take of the piece.

This piece was done over a year ago, perhaps even two years ago. The idea is based on the sharp aching pain some people may be familiar with whenever they are upset and hurting. As a fairly emotional person, this feeling was all too familiar to me and I couldn't shake it off. It feels as though your heart had been ripped out...sometimes it feels like you're being constantly stabbed in the heart...your heart feels like it's shattering again and again...or sometimes it just hurt so much that you want to just rip it out yourself....

We may feel heartache in countless situations and it's especially common in love and relationships. It may be difficult and there will be tears but for that person we seem to believe that hurt is worth it. All the tears you cried for them seemed worth it and your heart is no longer yours but their's.
